Gargoyle Skulls, Worn Belts, Skale Fins?
Hi,
I am just about ready to leave Old Ascalon. I've been collecting all kinds of trinkets with hopes that I can use them to get armor or weapons upgrades on the other side after the Searing. However, I'm just wondering if all of these things can even be sold or used Post Searing when I get to Ascalon. I know some items are useful like ingots, wood planks, cloth and hides but what about the rest? In particular I have: Gargoyle skulls Grawl Necklaces Spider Legs Worn Belts Skale Fins Should I sell now before the Searing or keep them? They take up almost all my free space in my backpack and pouch. Thanks, skull |

These items up to you. As far as I know, there are no collectors in Post searing trading for those items. But for Grawl Necklaces, you can use a salvage kit to get plant fibers for them. Plant fibers can later be upgraded to bolts of linen. Bolts of linen is used for crafting armor for Ele armor, not sure about other professions.

Definitely salvage the gargoyle skulls if you are a primary Necro...you will receive bone which is needed for your armor.

Learn what items salvage into the crafting materials you will need for future armor upgrades: With each new upgrade, more and more crafting materiels are required.

Gargoyle skulls - salvage to bone (necro armor right now)
Grawl Necklaces - salvage to plant fibers (intricate grawl necklaces are southern shiverpeaks... not the same) (can become linen, which is used for some monk and aeromancer's armor) Spider Legs - salvage to shells (used for some other armors, but also Hydromancer armor) Worn Belts - salvage to tanned hide squares which can become leather squares. Most common armor component for rangers (and some for warriors too) is the tanned hide square. Skale Fins - salvage to scales, used for Wyvern Armor (warriors), Drakescale armor (rangers) and Pyromancer's armor. So yes, they're all good to have. Even if you don't use it, you can sell them to other players or to the materials traders (in groups of 10 to the trader) |
